I Know Tragic And Embarrassing

I know this is bad but I really am excited about Brit Brit going on tour. I soooo want to go when the circus tour comes to town. I know I should be ashamed but I just cant help it. Embarrassing I know

Sick

Today is not a good day. I feel sick and people want me to actually work. It is not fun at all, I just want to go home and curl up in bed. It started Saturday night when I woke up because of a horrible ear ache. Not fun! I really really want to be in bed now.

My Boyfriend Thinks I'm Blind

Today Cory asked me how everything looked in the shower without my contacts or glasses. I told him it looked fine. He then asked well is it blurry?? I told him no its not. I can see fine up to a certain point. I just cant see things far away very clearly. He apparently thought that since I use my contacts or glasses all the time that I was as blind as a bat. Its interesting to find out your boyfriend thinks of you as Mr. Magoo!

New years and Beyond

New years was fun. I had a great time hanging out with friends and then hanging out at Bourbon St and dancing the night away. It was so much fun that we ended up having to take a cab home from our friends house at 7 in the morning because we were so trashed. On the second we went wine tasting with our friends Mike and Bo. Our plan was to leave at 6 in the morning, for those of you who don't know, I hate waking up early. But I was good and woke up early. It was sort of a little Sideways trip. It was only an overnight trip but we had lots of fun. Mike memberships to a lot of places so we tasted for free every place we went to. I cant remember the exact number of tastes we had but I believe we hit about 7. We came home tired with a couple of new bottles to have with friends. I cant wait to go back next time we have to make a week end out of it. Plus Mike signed up for another wine club so even more tasting for free!!! lol.

Christmas Rocked

This Christmas was the best ever!!! What was to be a quiet group of 5 turned into a total of 12 people. We had enough food for 30 and I still have food in my fridge 5 days later. We went through about 15 bottles of wine, killed the vodka and by the end of the night had moved on to margarita's. We smoked we danced we sang along to Abba until about 2 in the morning when everyone decided it was time to go home. It was awesome!!! Heather and I did interpretive dance as well to Abba, and I have to say we really were good! lol. Apparently the next day one of our neighbors complained and said that someone was having a party and it was too loud. We must have really been having a good time.

Postponned fire drill because of rain

We where scheduled to have a fire drill today, but they cancelled it because of the rain. I don't get it. Do they think that if a fire occurred it would make a difference if it was raining outside?? I know it would be cold outside and you would have to wear your jacket, but if you came to work today you would know it was raining and would have brought an umbrella. I just don't get it. Maybe I am also a little cranky because someone who lives with me kept me up later than planned because he would not stop opening bottles of wine last night so our guest didn't leave until late. On a good note the caterers could not be called off so there is free breakfast in the lobby this morning. Yes they give us a treat for doing the fire drill, they have to bribe us somehow to make us go down 20 flights of stairs. =)

Catching Up

life has been so busy. We went to D.C. in November and it feels like we have been going non stop since. D.C. Was beautiful and I love the subway, but it was freezing cold and I had not brought the proper attire for it. Apparently it is not as cold as it was when we were there. It actually snowed while we were there, it was only for about 20 min but hey snow is snow. Us Californians aren't used to it so I didn't know what the hell to do. lol.
Thanksgiving was good. It was a lot more mellow than previous years. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I am still debating, I love getting wild so not doing that this year was differ ant. But passing the time with friends was nice.
lets see what else???? Oh my friend K (don't know if he wants his name on her) is back, I know a lot of you are shaking your head like oh no. But we haven't been going crazy like before. For some reason I feel like Corey and I have mellowed out. We are happy to go out and have a good time but just as happy to stay home and pass out on the couch. Sorry Gabe I know you wanted to go out this past Saturday but the couch got the best of us and we both fell asleep. I know it seems like we are acting like old people, but don't worry its only a temporary thing. Its just been a tiring two months. Now to plan Corey's bday.
