Heathers wonderful Salmon

OK Sorry its been a couple of months since I posted. I will try to be better. I just had to talk about my friend Heather for a moment. Actually its more about the Salmon she cooks. Just a little back round on Heather, she's a vegetarian that's starting to embrace meat eating. That's all you need to know for now. Anyways she makes the best salmon! No one makes it like she does. There isn't much she puts on it but it is the best salmon by far. I believe she puts olive oil, salt, pepper and thyme, and maybe it just gets that extra love only Heather can give. If you have not had Heathers salmon you are missing out.

He said yes!

Man it sucks to go back to work after you have been on vacation for almost two weeks. Well we went on Vacation to Oregon, it was wonderful. I guess a big thing that happened was that I asked Cory to marry me, and he said yes!!! It was actually very hard to try and set up and do. I decided that I was going to be romantic and spell out the words will you marry me in rocks in the back yard of the house. But he wouldn't leave me alone, I kept trying to get him to leave me alone and he wouldn't. Finally I just did most of it while he was inside the house entertained by our friends. Aorron helped me out a bit with the rocks, Cory just would not leave me alone enough. lol. Thanks Aorron!! So now we need to start planning a wedding, don't know when we will have the ceremony or anything. I think Cory is still getting over that I really popped the question. I just like making him blush by calling him my fiance. I will recap the rest of our Oregon trip tomorrow. Brain is not working to well today.

My boyfriends new flip flops

Apparently my bf has never owned a pair of flip flops. Or he cant remember as a kid ever having a pair. Yesterday we were at Target and we bought him a pair. It was a struggle since he did not want to try them on in the store to see if they fit. Then he said he would try them on, but with his socks on. I told him if he was not going to try them on right then to leave them. He finally did while giggling and was afraid that someone would see him doing this. So anyways he bought them and took them home. Later in the night I took them out of the bag and told him to try them both on and see if he liked them. He would not stop laughing and saying that his feet looked funny. He kept telling me to stop looking at his feet, but the hilarious part was that he could not stop laughing about it, he thought his feet looked so funny. You would have thought he was watching a comedy show with how bad he was laughing. Moral of story, my boyfriend is nuts. lol.

Amazon Cookie Makers

There are these woman on my floor that I think are decended from amazonian woman. They dont work in my office they work on the other end of this floor for some other company. I think they work for a deposition company but I think all they really do is bake cookies all day. It smells like cookies on our floor ever since they moved in. What sucks is they never have offered us any even though they see us every day and they have to know we can smell those delicious things. Anyways they are at least 6 ft. tall and I would not want to get in a fight with any one of them. I am sure they could take me out. OMG!!! How freaky as I am writting this blog one of the people that works at that place came and brought us cookies! It wasnt one of the amazons though, sadly they do have normal size woman there too. I would love it if it was just a group of amazons only working. But its ok because the amazons seem not so friendly. They have never smiled or tried to say hi. I guess thats what the regular people are there for. Anyways they do make good cookies.

Emergency Defibrillator

At work we recently put in a emergency defibrillator. Every time I see it I giggle a little inside. The thing is in one of the kitchens but its in this huge case and here is the kicker, it has a red ambulance light on top of it. I picture an alarm going off if you ever open it to help someone. I don't get it, why would you want a red alarm light on there?? Is it important for every nosey assistant to come running when they hear it. If I leave this place I am going to open it to see if the alarm goes off.

Knitting

I took up a new hobby. I know some people are going to give me shit for it but I don't care. This week end my friend Heather took me (and Kirk) to the Whistle Stop in Golden Hills, we had a beer and she showed me how to knit. We spent about four hours there drinking beers and learning the basics of knitting. We totally had a blast and we are going every other Sunday when the knitting people go and have beers and knit. There was only one other male knitter there and he told Kirk and I to please come back so he wouldn't be the only male. As of Monday I started knitting a scarf.... an oversize scarf. It pretty wide and going to be pretty long. I didn't realize it was going to be that wide when I started it but now I just feel like it looks like something that would be in winter fashion week. lol. Maybe I am just trying to make an excuse for it being so wide. Hey everyone always says bigger is better so I will go with that's. So now as I watch the boob tube at home and when I am bored I will be pulling out my knitting and working on that. I am very excited, I wonder who will get the first ever original Ely scarf. You know you want it!

Random Spouter's

Don't you hate it when you are just sitting there reading crap on the Internet and someone is also doing so in the same room and has to spout out a bunch of useless information they obtain from online?? So uncalled for and not needed. You would also think that after being ignored whenever you did it means no one cares, but no some people think this is just a sign that they should spout out more and more useless crap. Why is it so hard for these people to shut up?? Is it really that hard to be quiet?? Maybe it is for them, either way I want to tell them to shut the F*** up! I know its not nice but its what I really want to do.
